We take steps to ensure that there is a culture of responsible business practice at Nu Energy Solutions Llc., and that those who work in our offices and field act with all morals, ethics, and integrity.
We are committed to complying with the laws and regulations of all the territories and jurisdictions in which we operate. We have a number of policies, processes and requirements that form part of our approach to responsible business. It is important to us that these policies are easily accessible and we make them available to our and customers via our company Account Executives.
Code of Conduct
The Nu Energy Solutions Code of Conduct (the Code) supports all of us in making the right decisions. It sets out the principles we must all work by at NES, wherever we are. It also provides guidance on where to go if colleagues and associates are faced with any issue and need further help. The Code is applicable to all our Directors, officers and employees, and is reviewed and approved on going. by the Board’s Audit Committee.
Anti-corruption and Anti-bribery
We are committed to operating with integrity and to complying with all relevant laws, including all applicable anti-corruption legislation. NES has a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption and this is clearly set out in our Code of Conduct and Anti-Bribery policy. This policy applies to all NES employees and Directors, including our sales associates. Bribery is not permitted under any circumstances. Any immoral, unethical or dishonesty will not be tolerated.
To date more than 10,000 people have completed our training. We also will not tolerate anyone taking other sales associates accounts without their knowledge. Any bribery or manipulating other sales associates to believe they have different options by mis guiding a sales associate that is contracted by NES policy. This policy defines unacceptable types of corruption of any kind whether in is internal or external. Our Code also prohibits any type of bad business practices.
We regularly monitor our anti-corruption including its suitability, adequacy and effectiveness, and we implement improvements as appropriate. Reporting on any corruption is provided and your duty as a NES Sales Associate to deliver truth and honesty. We reward one to five thousand dollars to anyone that comes forward with any corrupt business practices within NES.
It is extremely important that our people carry themselves and conduct themselves professionally with all ethics. To facilitate this, we have a confidential reporting channel which provides Account Executives or Energy Brokers with a means to share any ethical concerns they may have. Employees are made aware of this through regular internal communications.
